Russian Defense Ministry reports intercepting 99 Ukrainian drones, 12 HIMARS rockets, JDAM air bomb

MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry has reported intercepting 99 drones, 12 rockets fired from HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, and a JDAM guided air bomb of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the special military operation zone over the past 24 hours.

"Air defense systems have downed 12 HIMARS rockets and a JDAM guided air bomb over the past 24 hours," the ministry said on Wednesday.

In addition, 99 Ukrainian drones have been destroyed in the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics and in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, it said.

"Russian tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile and artillery forces have struck a Ukrainian Armed Forces fuel depot, personnel and military hardware in 123 areas," it said.
