TALLINN. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Estonia will provide military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 0.25% of its GDP for the next four years, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said.
"Estonia's long-term military support to Ukraine over the next four years will amount to 0.25% of our GDP. We urge every other state supporting Ukraine to undertake a similar obligation," Kallas said at a Paris summit on Tuesday, as quoted by the government press service.
Kallas called for immediate action to support Ukraine.
"We cannot waste time, as Ukraine needs urgent assistance with weapons in the first turn. I am hoping that the recent decision of Denmark to give all of its ammunition to Ukraine will inspire others. We should also see what kind of assistance could be obtained from the global market, same as the Czechs have done," she said.
Western nations have resources, economic might and knowledge, "together, we can help Ukraine win," Kallas said.
