MOSCOW. Feb 29 (Interfax) - A sabotage group from the Ukrainian Navy's Special Operations Forces has been neutralized in the Kherson sector while trying to land near the Tendra Spit, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"Units from the Russian group of forces stationed in the Kherson sector have neutralized a Ukrainian sabotage group from the 73rd Naval Center of the Ukrainian Navy's Special Operations Forces trying to land in the Tendra Spit area on boats," the ministry said.
"As a result of a brief engagement, four boats with troops were destroyed and sank, and the fifth boat turned back and sped in the opposite direction. The enemy lost up to 25 troops, and one serviceman was taken prisoner," it said.
