MOSCOW. March 4 (Interfax) - The Russian military has reported destroying an Abrams tank and three Bradley infantry vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the past 24 hours.
"Troops and hardware of the Ukrainian 24th and 110th Mechanized Brigades, the 71st Jaeger Brigade and the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade were hit near Novokalinovo, Mayorsk, Berdychi and Rozovka in the Donetsk People's Republic," the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 490 troops, two tanks including an Abrams, four infantry vehicles including three Bradleys, three armored combat vehicles and 12 trucks, the ministry said.
"Counterbattery measures hit an Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system, a Msta-B howitzer, a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system, and three D-30 howitzers," it said.
The ministry reported destroying the first Abrams tank of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on February 27. The tank was destroyed in the Avdeyevka sector, it said.
