Putin: Russian grain exports may grow to 65 mln tonnes in 2023-2024 agricultural year

SOLNECHNODOLSK, Stavropol Territory. March 5 (Interfax) - Russian grain exports may reach 65 million tonnes in the 2023-2024 agricultural year (from July 2023 to June 2024), Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with representatives of the agricultural sector in Stavropol Territory on Tuesday.

"Exports will stand at up to 65 million tonnes in the 2023-2024 agricultural year," he said, noting that "the volume is large and logistics are extremely important."

Russia exported 60 million tonnes of grain in the previous agricultural year.
