Five killed, 3 injured as bus hits mine in LPR's Kirovsk - LPR head

ROSTOV-ON-DON. March 6 (Interfax) - Five people have been killed and three others wounded as a bus hit a mine in the Donetsky community in Kirovsk in the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), LPR head Leonid Pasechnik said.

"A tragedy occurred in the town of Kirovsk of the Lugansk People's Republic as a bus traveling to a cemetery hit a mine in the Donetsky community. The vehicle was carrying eight civilians of the republic," Pasechnik said on Telegram on Wednesday.

Five were killed in the blast and three others were injured, he said.

"Special services are investigating the circumstances of the tragic incident," Pasechnik said.

He also offered condolences to the families and loved ones of the casualties.
