VORONEZH. March 7 (Interfax) - The village of Tyotkino in Russia's Kursk region has come under attack from Ukraine, the region's governor Roman Starovoit said.
"The village of Tyotkino in the Glushkovo district was attacked from Ukraine. Luckily, there are no casualties. The damage done to power transmission lines cut power supply to Tyotkino and the village of Popovo-Lezhachi. Repairs will begin as soon as it is safe," Starovoit said on Telegram on Thursday.
According to preliminary information, a private house and utility building were also damaged.
A yellow (high) level of terrorist alert has been in effect in the Kursk region since April 11, 2022. The region, which borders Ukraine, has repeatedly come under attack.
