Kursk settlement again attacked by Ukrainian forces, power lines damaged - authorities

VORONEZH. March 7 (Interfax) - The territory of the Glushkovsky district in Russia's Kursk region has been attacked by Ukrainian forces again, governor Roman Starovoit said.

"The settlement of Tetkino, Glushkovsky district, has been attacked by Ukrainian forces again. Power lines have been damaged again. Repair teams will start repair work as soon as it is safe," he said on his Telegram channel on Thursday.

Eleven households have been damaged, and one house has been considerably damaged by a direct attack, he said.

Starovoit reported an attack on the settlement earlier on Thursday. Tetkino and Popovo-Lezhachi were then left without electrical power supply as a result of power line damage.

A yellow (high) level of terrorist alert was imposed on the territory of the Kursk region on April 11, 2022. The region borders Ukraine and has been attacked repeatedly.
