MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax) - The launch of the fourth Resurs-P remote sensing satellite is scheduled for March from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Roscosmos said on Thursday.
"Preparations for refueling the Resurs-P No. 4 have begun at Baikonur. The launch of the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle carrying the fourth Resurs-P spacecraft is scheduled for March," the state corporation's Telegram channel said in a statement.
Resurs-P satellites are designed to update maps, support the economic activities of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, the Russian Fishery Agency, the Russian Federal Hydrometeorological Service and other consumers, as well as to obtain information in the field of environmental control and protection.
