Russian Pacific Fleet missile boat holds artillery drill in Sea of Japan

VLADIVOSTOK. March 11 (Interfax) - A Russian Pacific Fleet missile boat has held an artillery exercise at a maritime range in the Sea of Japan, the fleet's press service said.

"The R-18 missile boat from the water area guard formation of the Pacific Fleet's Primorye All-Arms Flotilla held an artillery drill at a maritime range in the Sea of Japan as part of the K-2 training mission," it said.

The boat engaged sea and air targets and simulated a missile strike on a mock enemy ship. It also practiced electronic countermeasures and avoiding enemy strikes.
