MOSCOW. March 12 (Interfax) - Russian air defense forces destroyed a Ukrainian Tochka-U tactical system missile and eight rockets fired by an RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) over the Belgorod region at around 7:30 a.m. Moscow time on Tuesday, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
A Ukrainian drone was downed over the Kursk region at around 7:00 a.m. Moscow time on Tuesday, the ministry said earlier.
Prior to that, the ministry reported downing 25 Ukrainian drones, some of them over the Moscow and Leningrad regions, last night.
"On-duty air defense forces intercepted and destroyed two drones over the Moscow region, one over the Leningrad region, seven over the Belgorod region, 11 over the Kursk region, one over the Bryansk region, one over the Tula region, and two over the Oryol region," it said.
