MOSCOW. March 13 (Interfax) - One person was killed and ten were injured in attacks on the Russian Belgorod region on Tuesday, the region's governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
"A member of our territorial self-defense was killed today," Gladkov said on Telegram.
Ten civilians were injured, and six of them were hospitalized, Gladkov said. "All medical assistance necessary is being provided," he added.
The regional authorities and the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry are working on a new protocol "to cut the air raid siren activation period without compromising the safety of residents," Gladkov said.
"We will start introducing the protocol as early as today," he said.
"There is no enemy" in the region's territory contrary to the disseminated "false" information, Gladkov said.
