MOSCOW. March 13 (Interfax) - The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed two Ukrainian army helicopters in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and a military hardware maintenance workshop in the Kharkov region over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
"Tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, and missile forces and artillery of the Russian groups of forces have destroyed two Mil Mi-8 helicopters of the Ukrainian Air Force parked near Novopavlovka in the DPR and a military hardware maintenance workshop near Balakleya in the Kharkov region," the ministry said.
Air defense has downed 136 Ukrainian drones, four HIMARS projectiles, six Grad rockets and three Hammer guided bombs in the past 24 hours, it said.
