Ten apartment blocks, 25 single-family houses damaged in attacks on Belgorod - administration (Part 2)

VORONEZH. March 14 (Interfax) - Numerous apartment blocks and single-family houses in Belgorod have been damaged in the recent airstrikes on the city, Belgorod Mayor Valentin Demidov reported.

"At this moment, damage of varying degrees has been recorded in ten apartment blocks (72 apartments), 25 single-family houses, and seven business facilities," Demidov wrote on Telegram on Thursday.

The city has been divided into ten sectors, with special emergency construction teams assigned to service each of them. In the event of an emergency, these teams are supposed to arrive within five to twenty minutes to repair broken windows in residential buildings, he said.

Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said nearly 40 single-family houses were damaged in the Belgorod district.

"Thirty-seven single-family houses, two outbuildings, and an agricultural facility sustained damage. Windows have been shattered in two apartment blocks. Preliminary findings indicate that 21 automobiles have been damaged," Gladkov wrote on Telegram on Thursday.

Belgorod and several other municipalities in the region were repeatedly attacked from the direction of Ukraine on Thursday. Several people have been killed and injured.
