BELGOROD. March 15 (Interfax) - A woman was injured in the city of Graivoron in Russia's Belgorod region when it was shelled for a second time by the Ukrainian army on Friday, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"The Graivoron urban district has come under attack. It was shelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Unfortunately, one woman has been injured in the city of Graivoron. She has bruised her shoulder joint and chest. An ambulance brought the woman to the regional hospital in Belgorod. All necessary medical assistance is being provided," Gladkov wrote on Telegram.

Two private houses were damaged in the attacks on Graivoron, and the roof of an administrative and commercial building was damaged and the windows were shattered, he said.

The Graivoron urban district also saw four villages shelled on Friday.

Windows were shattered and a roof and a fence were broken in four houses in the village of Dunaika. In another village, Kozinka, two private houses caught fire after explosions caused by shelling. In Glotovo, a shed was set alight after an attack. Dry grass caught fire in the village of Gora-Podol, he said.

"There have been no casualties in these communities. First responders and emergency services are mitigating the effects [of the attacks]," he said.

Gladkov said earlier that one member of a local territorial defense unit had been killed in an attack on Graivoron on Friday morning.
