MOSCOW. March 15 (Interfax) - Kiev won't be able to hinder the ongoing presidential election in Russia with sabotage attacks, as the multiethnic Russian people cannot be intimidated, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"As has been said already, these actions, which are pointless from a military standpoint and criminal from a humanitarian one, aim to obstruct the presidential election in Russia. I am sure that our people, the people of Russia, will respond to this with even stronger consolidation. Who are they going to scare? The Russian people? The multiethnic people of Russia? This has never happened and I am sure will never happen," Putin said at a conference with Russian Security Council permanent members on Friday.
