Ukrainian air attack repelled over Russia's Shebekino district - authorities

VORONEZH. March 19 (Interfax) - Air defenses worked over the Shebekino urban district in Russia's Belgorod region, the region's governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"According to preliminary reports, no one was injured after the air defense system repelled an air attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the Shebekino urban district," Gladkov said on his Telegram channel on Tuesday.

A private house and car were damaged in the Maslova Pristan village, one private house was damaged in the villages of Pristen and Bezlyudovka each, and a car was damaged on the Rzhavets village, he said.

The city of Belgorod and other localities in the region have come under multiple daily rocket and drone attacks from Ukrainian territory since March 12. Fatalities and injuries among the local population have been reported.
