MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - Russian Security Council experts have discussed security in the CIS, focusing on the South Caucasus, the Russian Security Council press service said.
"The meeting of the section of the scientific council of the Russian Security Council addressed vital issues relating to regional security in the former Soviet republics. A special focus was on the situation in the South Caucasus," the press service said.
Decisions of the scientific council and its sections are taken into account by the Security Council and can be sent to relevant federal agencies for consideration.
