Crocus City Hall terror attack can be traced to Ukrainian security services - Russian Security Council secretary

ASTANA. April 3 (Interfax) - The terror attack on Crocus City Hall can be traced to Ukrainian security services, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said.

"They are trying to make us think that the terror attack was perpetrated not by the Kiev regime but by followers of radical Islamic ideology, possibly members of the Afghan branch of ISIL [an international terrorist group banned in Russia]," Patrushev said at an annual meeting of security council secretaries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states.

"But it is much more important to rapidly identify the masterminds and sponsors of this horrible crime. It leads to Ukrainian security services," Patrushev said.
