"It is important at the upcoming summit of the SCO states to endorse an updated program of cooperation for 2025-2027 in combating terrorism, separatism and extremism," Patrushev said at a meeting of the SCO countries' security council secretaries in the Kazakh capital Astana.
The SCO states also need to continue joint efforts to promote the organization's counter-extremism convention, above all within the UN, as the pioneering experience of the SCO countries' cooperation in fighting extremism, he said.
