Governor of Russia's Murmansk region in intensive care in serious condition after attack - medics

MURMANSK. April 5 (Interfax) - Governor of Russia's Murmansk region Andrei Chibis is in serious condition after being stabbed in an attack on Thursday evening, Apatity-Kirovsk city hospital chief physician Yury Shiryayev said.

"He is in serious condition. He is in intensive care. [...] Further treatment will be provided in intensive care," Shiryayev said.

A video containing the doctor's comments has been published by the Murmansk region's operational headquarters.
