VLADIVOSTOK. April 5 (Interfax) - A North Korean delegation led by Education Minister Kim Sung Du begins a visit to Russia on Friday to discuss a substantial increase in the quota for North Korean students in Russian educational and professional development establishments, the Russian embassy to North Korea said on Telegram.
Better quality of teaching the Korean language in Russia and the Russian language in North Korea will also be on the agenda.
"It is planned that the mutual admission of students to linguistic programs will be boosted, teacher postings will be resumed, and joint work on textbooks will begin," the embassy said.
The North Korean delegation will begin its visit in Vladivostok. It will visit Far Eastern Federal University and meet with the rectors of certain higher educational establishments in Primorye Territory before going to Moscow.
