VLADIVOSTOK. April 8 (Interfax) - The Russian Pacific Fleet's Marshal Shaposhnikov frigate has finalized a call on the Massawa port, Eritrea, the fleet press service said on Monday.
"While at the African port, the Pacific Fleet sailors took part in cultural and sport programs prepared by the host country," the press service said.
Currently, the Marshal Shaposhnikov is crossing the Red Sea and fulfilling missions of the long-range deployment.
As reported, the Marshal Shaposhnikov arrived in Massawa on March 29 to mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Eritrea.
