Moldovan FM traveling to Germany for visit

CHISINAU. April 8 (Interfax) - Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi will pay a working visit to Berlin at the invitation of his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock to discuss bilateral relations.

"The visit will address the regional situation, opportunities to strengthen bilateral relations, and Germany's support for Moldova's European path," the Moldovan Foreign Ministry's press service told Interfax.

The ministers will meet on Tuesday, and a joint press conference will follow, the press service said.

Popsoi is also due to meet with Chairman of the European Affairs Committee Anton Hofreiter, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Michael Roth, as well as Chairman of the Moldova-Bulgaria-Romania Parliamentary Friendship Group Bernhard Herrmann.
