MOSCOW. April 8 (Interfax) - Russian forces have downed 291 Ukrainian drones and three Hammer guided aerial bombs over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"Air defense forces downed 291 Ukrainian drones, three French-made Hammer guided aerial bombs and four HIMARS projectiles," it said.
Tactical aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Russian groups of forces hit Ukrainian personnel and military hardware in 117 areas, it said.
"Since the start of the special military operation, 583 planes, 270 helicopters, 19,681 drones, 499 surface-to-air missile systems, 15,725 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,266 multiple launch rocket system vehicles, 8,732 field artillery weapons and mortars, and 20,762 special military automobiles have been destroyed," the ministry said.
