Eleven suspects of investigation identified in Crocus terrorist attack case, all arrested - Russian Investigative Committee (Part 2)

MOSCOW. April 8 (Interfax) - Investigators working on the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack case have identified 11 suspects of the investigation, and all of them have been arrested on charges of involvement in the crime, the Russian Investigative Committee said.

"Eleven suspects of the investigation involved in commissioning an extremely grave crime have now been identified in the criminal case. They have all been charged and taken into custody," a report published on the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee on Monday said.

"Significant information on the circumstances of the terrorists' preparations for the crime, which may indicate their connections to Ukrainian security services, has been received," it said.

"Work with the aggrieved parties and witnesses is underway, the victims of the terrorist attack are being identified. Investigative actions and operational search activities aimed at identifying and detaining other participants in the crime - the perpetrators, accomplices and masterminds - are being conducted," it said.

This information was reported by the group of investigators to Russian Investigative Committee head Alexander Bastrykin, the Investigative Committee said.

Several men broke into Crocus City Hall before a concert and opened fire on visitors and the personnel in the evening of March 22. A fire occurred in the building. According to the most recent information, 144 people were killed and 551 were injured in the terrorist attack.
