Latest cancellation of Angara-A5 launch from Vostochny caused by failure of engine start control system - Roscosmos head

MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - A failure of the engine start control system caused the latest cancellation of the launch of an Angara-A5 heavy rocket from Vostochny Cosmodrome, Roscosmos head Yury Borisov said.

"Another technical malfunction has been detected. According to preliminary telemetry analysis, it was a failure of the engine start control system. Most likely, this is a programming error that will be found today," Borisov said in a video posted on Telegram by the Zvezda TV channel.

"There are no irreversible processes that could require the rocket's dismantlement," he said.
