Ukrainian energy facilities, defense plants, air defense, depots hit in 34 strikes by long-range weapons over past week - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. April 19 (Interfax) - Russian forces have delivered 34 combined strikes by long-range precision-guided weapons on Ukrainian energy facilities, defense plants and railroad infrastructure over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.

The combined strikes retaliate against Ukraine's attempts at damaging Russian energy and manufacturing facilities, the ministry said.

The strikes "hit energy facilities, defense plants and railroad infrastructure of Ukraine, in addition to air defense systems and depots storing weapons and fuel for military hardware," it said.

Centers training drone operators and temporary bases of Ukrainian detachments and foreign mercenaries were hit as well, the ministry said.
