One killed in attack on Kherson region - governor

ROSTOV-ON-DON. April 26 (Interfax) - A Ukrainian strike on Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region has killed one person, the region's governor Vladimir Saldo said on Friday.

"One person has been killed. Three private houses are damaged," Saldo said on Telegram.

He said 120mm mortars fired 12 shells at residential areas in Novaya Kakhovka.

On Thursday, Saldo reported two deaths caused by an attack on homes in the Dnepryany village in the Novaya Kakhovka district.
