MOSCOW. May 3 (Interfax) - Twenty-three percent of Russians view the special military operation as the main event of the past week, the Public Opinion Foundation said on its website on Friday.
Thirteen percent of Russians described flood mitigation in a number of Russian regions as the most important event of last week, the pollster said.
Other most significant events mentioned by respondents include the arrest of Russian Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov, the investigation into the terror attack on the Crocus City Hall, the U.S. military assistance to Kiev, and the escalation of tensions in the Middle East.
The Public Opinion Foundation polled 1,500 respondents older than 18 in 104 localities in 53 regions of Russia on April 26-28, 2024.
