All processes in S. Caucasus should take place in coordination with Baku - Aliyev

BAKU. May 13 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has called on external forces to refrain from interfering in the country's internal affairs.

"Our policies are based on international law and justice [...] No one can dictate anything to us and interfere in our internal affairs. We will do what we see fit," Aliyev said in Shusha, Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, on Friday.

"I want to tell the people of Azerbaijan once again, as well as those who show an interest in this region: from now on, no step should be taken without coordination with us here. I am certain that they hear me, they know: if I say something, I do it," he said.

The president also criticized the ambassadors of some Western countries for not wanting to visit Shusha. "Now look who is playing the main role among those who are against us - France and America. One needs to say openly that France the most. And they should know that no issue in this region will be solved against our will [...] We have a say here, in this land," Aliyev said.
