MOSCOW. May 13 (Interfax) - Russia has recruited over 500,000 million employees for the defense industry, candidate for first deputy prime minister Denis Manturov said.
"Just in the last little over a year, we have recruited over 500,000 employees for defense plants alone," Manturov said at the State Duma on Monday.
The need for additional personnel persists in many industries, he said.
