MOSCOW. May 13 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation with Bolivian President Luis Arce, the presidents discussed the implementation of joint projects in the trade-economic and energy sectors, the Kremlin press service said on Monday.
"The conversation addressed issues relating to further development of bilateral relations with an emphasis on the implementation of mutually profitable joint projects in the trade-economic and energy sectors," the report said.
"The Bolivian leader congratulated the Russian president and all people of Russia on the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War," the press service said.
"It was agreed to intensify contacts on various levels," the report said.
The conversation was on the Bolivian side's initiative.
