MOSCOW. May 14 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to China on May 16-17 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, as his first foreign trip after inauguration, the Kremlin press service said.
"The leaders of Russia and China will have a detailed discussion of every aspect of the comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction, will define key areas of further development of Russian-Chinese practical cooperation, and will have a substantive exchange of views on the most pressing global and regional affairs," the press service said.
The negotiations with end with the signing of a joint statement of the heads of state and a number of bilateral documents, it said.
