Death toll from house collapse in Russia's Belgorod rises to 16 - Emergency Situations Ministry

MOSCOW. May 14 (Interfax) - Another body has been found at a scene of an apartment building's partial collapse in Belgorod after a Ukrainian attack, and the death toll has risen to 16, the press service for the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said on Tuesday.

"Another woman has been found dead at the scene of a house section's collapse in Belgorod. The death toll has risen to 16," the press service said.

A section of a ten-story building collapsed in Belgorod on Sunday as a result of a Ukrainian attack.

Earlier reports said that rescuers retrieved 15 bodies, including those of two children, out of the rubble and saved 17 people.

According to the region's governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, 20 people, including two children, were injured in the partial house collapse on Shchors Street in Belgorod.
