BEIJING. May 16 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has thanked Chinese State Council Premier Li Qiang for the priority attention Chinese colleagues are giving to strengthening interaction between the two countries in the trade-economic sphere.
"I want to express appreciation to you personally, dear Mr. State Council Premier [and] all colleagues from the State Council for the priority attention you are giving to strengthening Russian-Chinese multifaceted interaction, primarily in the trade-economic sphere," Putin told the negotiations' participants.
"Impressive results have been achieved in practical cooperation through joint efforts," the president said.
During his visit to China, Putin held separate talks with Li. He earlier met with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
