Five injured in Ukrainian missile strike on LPR's Yubileiny - LPR head

ROSTOV-ON-DON. May 20 (Interfax) - According to preliminary reports, five people have been injured in a Ukrainian army missile strike on the community of Yubileiny on the outskirts of Lugansk, Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) head Leonid Pasechnik said.

"A major fire broke out following the shelling of Yubileiny using French-made SCALP-EG missiles, which resulted in a residential house catching fire, dozens of other buildings being scarred by shrapnel, and windows being blown out by the blast wave," Pasechnik said on his Telegram channel on Monday.

According to preliminary reports, five people were reportedly injured in the strike, all of whom are receiving medical care, he said.

"Employees of the Emergency Situations Ministry and the Investigative Committee are working at the scene. On my instructions, employees of the Lugansk administration will assess the damage," Pasechnik said.
