MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - Russian forces have taken control of Belogorovka in the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"Units from the southern group of forces have taken full control of Belogorovka in the Lugansk People's Republic through intensive operations and have improved their front lines and positions," the ministry said on Monday.
"Hostile troops and hardware were struck near Spornoye, Razdolovka, Kleshcheyevka and Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic," it said.
According to the ministry, the Ukrainian army lost over 340 troops, three tanks and three vehicles during the day, while counterbattery measures hit two D-30 howitzers, two L-119 howitzers, a M119 gun, and a Bukovel-AD ECM station. Four Ukrainian ammo depots were destroyed, it said.
