MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - Russia has invited all BRICS members and friendly states to a BRICS ministerial meeting, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.
"The invitations have been sent, we are receiving answers. There is a keen interest in the event. We are expecting all BRICS members to be represented at the event at the minister level," Ryabkov told reporters.
Russia also invited states friendly towards BRICS as part of the BRICS Outreach and BRICS+ formats, he said.
Nizhny Novgorod will host a meeting of the BRICS Council of Foreign Ministers on June 10-11.
