MOSCOW. May 29 (Interfax) - The Mozhaisk submarine has drilled firing torpedoes from a submerged position in the Baltic Sea, the Baltic Fleet press service said in a statement on Wednesday.
"The Mozhaisk successfully fulfilled the set tasks and fired torpedoes from a submerged positon at a sea target imitated by the fleet's small anti-submarine ship at a safe distance," the statement said.
All torpedoes were raised from the water after the exercise, it said.
"Torpedo firing is a mandatory training element and is held in line with the approved plan," it said.
