Yekaterinburg to host Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition in 2026

KUBINKA, Moscow region. May 30 (Interfax) - Yekaterinburg will host the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition in 2026, Emergency Situations Minister Alexander Kurenkov said.

"We plan to organize the next, 16th exhibition, in Yekaterinburg in 2026. Holding the exhibition in a constituent territory once in two years will help improve regional safety and security systems and develop ranges for training firemen and rescuers," Kurenkov said at the opening ceremony of Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition 2024 in the Patriot Park on Thursday.

Regions will thus be able to inform exhibitors about the specifics of their work and to borrow best practices of the others, he said.

Infrastructure security is the main theme of the 15th Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition. The exhibition business program will address the protection of territories and their population from emergencies, and the provision of fire and water safety. Further improvement of rescue hardware and techniques will also be highlighted, Kurenkov said.
