MOSCOW. May 31 (Interfax) - Barnaultransmash, part of Rostec's High Precision Systems holding, has reported an over 20% increase in the production of diesel engines for infantry vehicles and airborne assault vehicles in 2024.
"Since the beginning of 2024, Barnaultransmash of the High Precision Systems holding has increased production of diesel engines for infantry vehicles and airborne assault vehicles by 20%, compared to the respective period of 2023," the holding's press service said on Tuesday.
Output doubled year-on-year in 2023, it said.
"While implementing a technical rearming program in 2024, Barnaultransmash plans to install additional equipment in certain workshops and to expand the technological production chain. Additional construction and assembly work will be done as well," the press service said.
