Russian Defense Ministry reports downing 2 Ukrainian MiG-29, 2 Su-27 planes, 312 drones over past week

MOSCOW. May 31 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry has reported downing four Ukrainian Air Force planes and 312 unmanned aerial vehicles over the past week.

"Aircraft and air defense systems have downed two MiG-29 and two Sukhoi Su-27 planes of the Ukrainian Air Force, 14 U.S.-made ATACMS tactical missiles, 17 French-made Hammer guided air bombs, six U.S.-made HARM anti-radiation missiles, six Neptun anti-ship missiles, 58 U.S.-made HIMARS, Czech-made Vampire, and Olkha rockets, and 312 unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said on Friday.

Forty-five Ukrainian troops have surrendered over the past week, it said.
