MOSCOW. May 31 (Interfax) - Russian Prosecutor General's Office has designated as undesirable in Russia the Germany-based non-governmental organization Dekoder-gGmbH.
"Following a check, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has ruled to designate the activities of the foreign-based non-governmental organization Dekoder - gGmbH (Dekoder - gGesselschaft mbH, Dekoder) as undesirable in Russia," the Russian law-enforcement agency said.
The organization was established in Germany in 2015.
"The Organization has set up and is administering a website available in both German and Russian in the Russian segment of the Internet network. It publishes exclusively unsubstantiated reports that are accusative toward the policies of Russia's authorities. The web portal's partners are information resources added to the foreign agent register and organizations designated as undesirable in Russia," it said.
"Since the beginning of the special military operation, the organization has been systematically publishing knowingly false information discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," the Russian Prosecutor General's Office.
