Resident of Russia's Khabarovsk suspected of cooperating with Ukrainian intelligence

KHABAROVSK. June 3 (Interfax) - The Khabarovsk territorial branch of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has found evidence of a 35-year-old Khabarovsk resident's cooperation with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, the FSB press service said.

"The man opposed to the political decision of the national leadership to begin the special military operation and seeking to take the enemy's side initiated online contact and established confidential cooperation with representatives of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate to work against security of the Russian Federation," the press service said.

A criminal case was opened on counts of confidential cooperation with a foreign state or a foreign organization.

The man was apprehended and placed under arrest.
