ALMATY. June 3 (Interfax) - The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is expecting the Armenian leadership to clarify Armenia's future relations with the organization, CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov said.
"Armenian colleagues have significantly reduced their involvement in the organization's events over the past year. Still, key mechanisms of interaction are functioning. The Republic of Armenia remains a full member of the organization, all of whose obligations to the country remain valid. We are expecting the country's political leadership to clarify further relations with the CSTO," Tasmagambetov said at a meeting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council in Almaty on Monday. The CSTO website published abstracts from his speech.
"That would be good for all members of our organization, first and foremost, for the comprehensive planning of further joint activity," Tasmagambetov said.
