MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax) - Any decisions to be adopted in Russia's absence at the upcoming Swiss-hosted conference on the Ukrainian crisis are doomed to failure, State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said.
"It is impossible to resolve the Ukrainian crisis without Russia's participation," Volodin said on his Telegram channel.
"Any attempts to impose on Russia any decisions adopted at agenda-driven gatherings organized by Washington and Brussels are doomed to failure," he said.
"The number of participants in the conference on the Ukrainian crisis in Switzerland continues to shrink," Volodin said.
"The Ukraine peace summit", which Russia will not attend, is due to take place in Switzerland on June 15-16.
