Village shop comes under fire near Kherson, 19 killed - governor

ROSTOV-ON-DON. June 7 (Interfax) - Nineteen people have been killed and five more injured after a Ukrainian military attack in the Kherson region, its governor Vladimir Saldo said on Friday.

"The attack [...] on the village of Sadovoye in Golopristansky municipality (...) resulted in damage to a shop where a considerable number of visitors and staff were present at the time. Nineteen people were killed and another five were injured," Saldo said on Telegram.

Emergency services are working at the scene. Those injured are receiving medical assistance, he said.
