Ukrainian army attacks several residential communities in Kursk region, 26 drones neutralized - authorities

VORONEZH. June 10 (Interfax) - Acting Governor of the Kursk region Alexei Smirnov reported numerous Ukrainian drone attacks during Monday.

"During the day, [Ukrainian forces] attacked villages Gordeyevka and Troitskoye in the Korenevo district, settlement Tyotkino and hamlet Zarya in the Glushkovo district, border crossing Sudzha and village Gogolevka in the Sudzha district, and village Miayevka in the Belaya district. No casualties among residents have been reported," Smirnov said on Telegram.

"Ukrainian copters bombed and kamikaze drones attacked [the territory of Russia's Belgorod region] near the village of Guyevo and hamlet Oleshnya in the Sudzha district, villages Kondratovka and Goptarovka in the Belaya district, settlements Politotdelsky and Krasnooktyabrsky, village Vesyoloye, small village Yelizavetovka, and hamlet Otruba in the Glushkovo district, and near Gordeyevka in the Korenevo district. No casualties have been reported," he said.

A Ukrainian drone attacked a residential house in the village of Vesyoloye and damaged the foundation, windows and home appliances in the house, he said.

"Electronic warfare systems in the border areas destroyed or neutralized 26 Ukrainian drones," Smirnov said.
