MOSCOW. June 11 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry has reported destroying Sukhoi Su-27 and Su-25 planes of the Ukrainian Air Force at their airbases.
"Su-27 and Su-25 planes of the Ukrainian Air Force have been destroyed at airbases," the ministry said on Tuesday.
Air defense has downed 45 Ukrainian drones, two Hammer guided air bombs and ten HIMARS projectiles over the day, it said.
"Tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of the Russian groups of forces have struck concentrations of enemy troops and military hardware in 107 areas," the ministry said.
"In total, 613 planes, 276 helicopters, 25,559 unmanned aerial vehicles, 528 air defense missile systems, 16,312 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,332 multiple rocket launchers, 10,332 artillery systems and mortars, and 22,445 special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation," it said.
